Focus

We sat back yesterday and looked at all the investments we make with our lives. 

• The investment in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. 
• The investment of a healthy marriage. 
• The investment of equipping our kids to be leaders in the world now and not waiting till they become adults. 
• The investment in our careers.
• The investment of relationships with others.
• The investment in the environments around us.
• The investment in our future. 
• The investment in our church. 
• The investment in the church.
• The investment in our community. 
• The investment in our world. 

So far we are doing well in maintaining some of those investments. We noticed  small efforts put in others. My goal would be to value all of these things and somehow intertwine them so that when I am building on one it in turn is building on the others. 

I am going to try to start communicating about these investments. One reason is for accountability. It seems when I see the measures, it causes me to be able to execute a plan.

I must be an "out of sight-out of mind" kind of person.
